Welcome!

Hi, I’m Jaime Chabuz

My Philosophy

I’m an Integrative Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner and Certified Nurse Midwife who believes true healing happens when we care for the whole person—mind, body, and spirit—not just symptoms.

Over my years of supporting women through pregnancy, birth, loss, and other profound transformations, I’ve learned one thing above all: women carry an incredible capacity to heal. Even in the face of overwhelm, isolation, and grief, I’ve witnessed women rise—again and again.

Healing is not just about easing discomfort. It’s about coming home to yourself—reclaiming your inner wisdom, expanding your resilience, and remembering you were never broken.

I Believe:

  • There is nothing to fix—you were never broken.

  • Healing happens in connection— not isolation

  • Spirituality, in its many forms, can be a powerful anchor in the healing process.

  • Joy lives in the small, everyday moments— and those matter deeply

  • The parts of us shaped by pain or darkness carry their own kind of wisdom—they helped us survive. Healing means making space for them, too.

  • The most effective care integrates diverse approaches—conventional and holistic—and centers what truly honors the unique needs of each person.

My Story

My son and daughter.

We love exploring the outdoors together—nature keeps us curious and connected.

Our little farm.

Meet Melody, our Maremma livestock guardian dog, with her goats. Life on the farm keeps me rooted in rhythm, simplicity, and joy.

Pregnant with My Daughter, Exploring with My Son.

A sweet moment at an arboretum—pregnant with my daughter, sharing the wonder of nature with my little boy by my side.

My journey has been shaped not only by my education and training but by my own experiences with chronic illness, motherhood, trauma, and personal loss. I was diagnosed with an autoimmune condition and cancer at 19 after years of misdiagnosis, and it was only through integrative, root-cause medicine that I was finally able to heal. My work as a midwife and mental health provider has shown me firsthand how much women’s mental health is deeply interconnected with so many other intersections of health and well-being. After struggling to find the right support during my own postpartum journey, I knew I wanted to provide the kind of care I wished I had received.

In recent years, I’ve experienced the difficulties of losing a loved one, navigating the challenges inherent in caregiving for my sister while she was battling metastatic cancer, the immense journey of grief since she passed away, and then going through a divorce and the new experience of single parenting. Each of these experiences has reinforced what I have always known to be true: healing is possible, even in the face of profound loss and pain.

Through my practice, I help women break free from cycles of being dismissed, misdiagnosed, or told their symptoms are ‘just in their head,’ offering personalized, evidence-based care that blends functional medicine, psychotherapy, holistic wellness, and medication management when appropriate. My goal is to help women find their way back to themselves—to a place of balance, clarity, and strength, no matter what they have been through.

Too often, as women and mothers, we carry more than any one person should have to bear. We navigate impossible expectations, the weight of caregiving, and the pressure to keep going no matter how depleted we feel. And yet, despite what we may have been told, struggling does not mean we are broken. Healing does not happen in isolation, and though modern life has made it harder to find true community, that healing can begin here—with seeking help, with allowing yourself to be seen and supported, with finding your way back to yourself.

Healing is not about erasing pain or denying struggles; it is about making space for them to be heard, felt and acknowledged, while also holding space for possibility—for what comes next. It is about learning that even in our hardest seasons, we are still whole, and there is always hope.

If you’ve struggled to find a provider who listens, understands, and treats you as a whole person, I understand– and I’d love to support you on your journey to healing.

“When grief claws at your window, don’t ignore it. Instead, hold it close and let it stay as long as it needs. Do not let the lamp of hope dim in the chaos that descends. May peace know you by name. May you be greeted by birdsong often. May hope curl up like a well loved old dog at the end of your bed every night.

And when the ruins of your past call your name, remember the monument of courage you built in their place.”
