My approach focuses on the lowest effective dose, minimizing side effects, and prioritizing safety—especially during pregnancy and breastfeeding. For some, medication is a short-term bridge. For others, it's part of a longer-term plan. Either way, you’re not alone in making those decisions. We’ll work together to find the most supportive path forward—one that honors your unique body, mind, and goals.

Additionally, I utilize Karen Kleiman’s Holding Therapy Technique, a gentle, compassionate approach designed specifically for women experiencing distress during the perinatal period. Holding Therapy creates an emotionally safe space where your feelings can be witnessed, validated, and held—without pressure to “fix” anything too quickly—so you can begin to heal at your own pace.

Lab work is an important tool in understanding your health, but the key isn’t just which tests we run—it’s how the results are interpreted. I often recommend a more detailed set of standard labs that can provide valuable insights and are typically covered by insurance. These help us identify patterns in hormones, thyroid function, inflammation, metabolic health, and nutrient status.
When symptoms persist despite “normal” results, functional tests can sometimes provide a deeper perspective. These tests—such as hormone mapping, gut health panels, or micronutrient analysis—are used selectively when they’re likely to add meaningful insight. While functional testing can offer helpful information, it’s not always necessary to create an effective care plan and often requires out-of-pocket costs.
My approach is to use the least costly and most actionable information first, then layer in advanced testing only when it truly informs your treatment plan.

I believe in providing care that is personalized, comprehensive, and deeply attuned to your unique needs. To support this, I offer two distinct care models:
Insurance-Based Care
For more straightforward mental health care needs, I accept insurance through the platforms Alma and Headway. These services focus on addressing mental health concerns and providing supportive therapy within the parameters of your insurance plan.
Private-Pay Integrative and Functional Care
For more in-depth integrative and functional wellness services, including perimenopause and menopause care, I offer a private-pay model. This approach allows me to provide longer, more in-depth sessions, individualized treatment plans, and truly integrative care without the limitations often imposed by insurance coverage.
While I do not accept insurance for these integrative services, I’m happy to provide a superbill upon request. You may be able to submit this to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement, depending on your specific plan.
